The Governing Body helps oversee and guide:
Setting targets for pupil achievement
Managing the school budget and resources
Ensuring the curriculum is broad and balanced
Appointing new staff and reviewing staff pay and performance
Many of these responsibilities are managed through our dedicated committees.
Each governor chooses which committee(s) they serve on, based on their skills and interests. All committees have:
Agreed terms of reference
A standard agenda
Properly recorded minutes
We currently have three active committees, each meeting at least once per term:
Resources Committee
Strategic Improvement Committee
Ethos Committee
Each committee reports back to the full Governing Body during termly meetings.
Minutes from the Full Governing Body meetings are public documents and can be viewed upon request at the school office.
