Proud Clouds...

We are extremely proud of your children's achievements in Nursery and we know, you as parents and carers, are also proud of the milestones your children achieve at home too. Why not share these with your child's Group Leader by completing a 'Proud Cloud'! You can download the document here or ask for a paper version from school.

 Admissions

Lane Head Nursery School deal with their own admissions to Nursery.  So please remember to register any younger children with us as soon as possible. We hope that we can provide all children with a Nursery place, the term after their third birthday.  We will write out to you, at least a term before they would start, to arrange a home visit and to let you know about our admissions process.

Reception Place Admissions

The 'Information for Parents' booklet for primary admissions for Walsall Residents (whose Council Tax is paid to Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council: is usually available for collection from Nursery during November (of the year before your child moves to reception) and will also be available on the Walsall Council website.

Supplementary forms are available from Nursery or online on the Walsall Council website and for Rosedale applications these forms can be returned to Lane Head.

In line with the published admission arrangements, parents must submit their applications ONLINE and will not be issued with paper forms.  The closing date for applications is in January (of the year your child is due to transfer to reception).

Walsall's Parent Support Advice Service, contactable on 01922 652585 or schooladmissionsadvice@walsall.gov.uk - will be able to support parents through the process.  Parents can also visit the Civic Centre, First Stop Shop, where a member of the Admissions and Pupil Place Planning Team will be available to provide assistance with making an application.
